Absolutely tremendous. A great team effort off the back of an amazing 2025. I've managed Silverburn since it opened in 2007, and this year has been remarkable.
David Pierotti General Manager
It's a pleasure to receive this Commendation in recognition of our people who work incredibly hard every single day to surprise and delight people and create incredible experiences.
Dominic McKay Chief Executive
We're such an impactful business in the global network, and we just want to be recognised in Glasgow for what we've done. It’s such a prestigious award, so we are delighted to have won it. It’s amazing.
Victoria Nicol Founder and Managing Director
To win an award in Glasgow for something that can be done around the world is a big feather in our caps. I'm absolutely delighted and so proud of what we’ve done for this product and for the city.
Alan Hendry Technical Director - Sustainability
This is my 57th year volunteering. Glasgow Chamber of Commerce has been very supportive, particularly in the last 20 years that I’ve been involved with the organisation, so I am delighted to win this award.
Jimmy Johnston
We are a fairly new company, and we just want to be innovative, grow the business, and inspire people. This is a big thing for us in Glasgow as we are based here and it's lovely to win something like this.
Andrew Samuel Chairman and Founder
It's so unexpected but we're really chuffed. This is actually the first time that we've ever entered a team kind of award. We just thought it was perfect timing as it is 10 years since the charity was established.
Suzanne Downey Marketing & Communications Manager
I think this is such an important category to win, and I'm just so proud of everybody that's helped to make it happen. This felt like a category that we've been putting a lot of work into over the last few years.
Gina Colley Associate Director
It's overwhelming, to be honest. I was so chuffed at being a finalist, but to get a Commendation is brilliant recognition of our work.
Caroline Meikle Managing Director
We've been in business for such a long time, and we are now into our third generation of family members working with us, so it's great to get this recognition because we've never really applied for any awards before.
Alexander Littlejohn and Graham Littlejohn Directors
It’s amazing to get this Commendation. It is good to recognise all the hard work our staff have put in throughout the year. We thought we should enter a category which recognises all of them.
Grant McGhee Production
It's amazing for the team but also the whole community who have worked so hard and helped us to become the favourite business in Glasgow. I'm over the moon for my team as they have done wonderful work.
Sunita Poddar Founder and CEO
It’s a very pleasant but very humbling experience. We were shortlisted in this category last year but never won it, so we thought we would put our hat back in the ring and try our best to win it this year.
Rukhsar Ahmed and Cain Flemming CEO and Operations Director
It feels great! Very unexpected, but really pleased to be recognised as a successful Glasgow business working in the industry we're in and being the best business we can be in this innovation space.
Michael King Head of Sales
It's really lovely to be recognised as a leader and for inspiring young talent and engineering talent, which Scotland is famous for. It's just exceptionally rewarding that the effort we are putting in as a business is recognised.
Jerry Hughes Managing Director
We're absolutely delighted to be given a Commendation for inspiring future talent. I think it really recognises the work that our team puts in to support not only young people, but individuals who are looking for a career change.
Jessica Dradge Education Services Lead
It's an honour and one we never take for granted. We're really trying to push boundaries with the circular economy, and this means so much. When we get a bit of recognition, it helps motivate us even more.
Bryan O’Reilly Director
This is really important as we've been on this journey for five years now, and everything we've said, we've delivered. It is recognition for all the hard work over the last five years, and we're only part way through the journey.
Jim McSporran Director
I'm delighted and very honoured to win this. We have entered the Awards as a business before, but this is the first time we have had an individual nominated, so to win is incredible.
Jemma Robertson Managing Director
We weren't expecting to win this award, so to hear our name was incredible. To get this means that the business community is recognising us, which is phenomenal and quite an honour.
Bryan O’Reilly Director
I am absolutely delighted and humbled. It is a privilege to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, particularly through Glasgow Chamber of Commerce which represents a fantastic group of businesses and business leaders.
